Is the processing different to rehairing horsehair?
Yes. You have to work carefully. Due to its resistance to humidity you do not have to make the hair ribbon wet. But on the downside, you cannot heat the ribbon to shorten it in the end. See video below.

How many grams have a violin, viola, cello, bass hank?
Coruss is lighter and therefore you can make a hank with a lot of hair. We offer ribbons for violin/viola bows with 5,5 g and for cello with 7,5 g. Of course, you can get bundles of 125, 250 and 500 g.
