Bow frog Hill

The finished bow frogs are completely polished. The mortise is milled. Buttons and wedges are included. The bow frog is manufactured at our workshop in Röttenbach, Germany. The bow frog has the following features: silver mountings, carefully selected and well-seasoned ebony, MOP inlays, double eye, full-lined (two-part heel) partially MOP, Standard underslide, silver underslide with pins, three-part button, stainless steel screw inch thread, brass eyelet.
Hill style underslide with and without metal can be ordered against extra charge.

Violin and Viola frogs have a square back. Cello frogs have a round back (heel-plate). The images show the violin model.
