The finished bow frogs are completely polished. The mortise is milled. Buttons and wedges are included. The bow frog is manufactured at our workshop in Röttenbach, Germany. The bow frog has the following features: silver mountings, carefully selected and well-seasoned ebony, MOP inlays, single eye, full-lined (two-part heel), Peccatte underslide, silver underslide with pins, three-part button, stainless steel screw inch thread, brass eyelet, tapered slide.
Violin and Viola frogs have a square back. Cello frogs have a round back (heel-plate). The images show the violin model.
